When it comes to all the upcoming Bethesda games in the works right now, there’s a lot to get hyped for. Sure, Starfield and Hi-Fi Rush impressed us enough last year, but 2024 is proving to be an exciting time for the Skyrim publisher. Earlier this year, we finally had our first look at MachineGames’ upcoming Indiana Jones action game (as well as an official title for it). The success of the Fallout TV series has also drawn our attention back to the question of when we might see the eventual fifth installment of its video game inspiration, and of course, we’ve been patiently awaiting a Skyrim sequel for years now.With the studio now owned by Microsoft, we’re expecting to see many of the games listed below being released as Xbox exclusives. Featuring Indy’s whip-sharp retorts and, well, his actual whip, this is the kind of video game experience many of us have been waiting for since Raiders of the Lost Ark.During Gamescom 2024, it was revealed that the game would be released on December 9 for Xbox and PC players. Luckily, the game is heading to PS5 as well; however, only in “early 2025”. Still, we’re happy that everyone (no matter their console of choice) will get to experience this one, as it looks like a movie fan’s dream. From cut scenes and gameplay footage that we’ve seen so far, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is packed with exciting cinematics, a whip-based combat system, and features a wide variety of locations to explore.
