There’s a bunch of upcoming CD Projekt Red games in development right now, with the award-winning developer turning its attention to new Witcher and Cyberpunk experiences following the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. The studio is known for creating some of the best RPGs in recent history, so naturally, we’re incredibly excited to see what new games it has in store for us. The lineup of new CDPR games includes adventures that aren’t going to directly follow The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, such as a remake of Geralt’s first adventure. We have a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel on the horizon, too, and that barely scratches the surface of what’s to come. So, you’ll want to keep reading to find more info on every one of the upcoming CD Projekt Red games in development right now.The Witcher 4 Platforms: TBACD Projekt Red confirmed the existence of The Witcher 4 in March 2022, and has been quietly issuing updates ever since. The team behind Dead Cells are journeying down the early access route once again with their next gorgeous roguelike Windblown because, to them, reacting to player feedback is crucial in making good games.Speaking to GamesRadar+, Motion Twin developer Thomas Vasseur muses that there’s one throughline that lets the studio create bangers: “I think it’s players that give us feedback… players are very, very helpful to make games like that.”Yannick Berthier explains that the team has already been taking feedback onboard, well before Windblown’s official Steam early access release date of October 24, as 200 to 300 players took part in a closed alpha test months ago – not to mention the feedback rolling in from friends and fellow developers even before that.”They already shaped the game in a lot of ways, in a lot of systems, even small, just funny stuff that makes the overall experience really cool or memorable,” Berthier continues. “To nailing some weapons and their game feel to ideas of systems for the shop or for the co-op and so on. They already really made an impact on the game, and there were only 200, so hopefully we’ll have more players in 15 days, no pressure. I should not say t…

Halls of Torment has already been tearing up sales charts during its early access tenure, and now that it’s out in full, this bullet-hell roguelike in ’90s RPG clothing is one of the year’s best-rated releases. In case the trailer below doesn’t slap you across the face with its influences, Halls of Torment’s gist is that it’s basically a Vampire Survivors-style survival roguelike where you descend into the underworld and fight against increasingly dense hordes until the screen’s literally flooding with projectiles and pixel blood – but it’s all wrapped up in Diablo 2’s nostalgic retro aesthetics and a “quest-based meta progression.”

After spending 17 months in early access and drawing in a crowd of 900,000 total players, developer Chasing Carrot properly launched the game on September 24, where it was almost immediately met with universal praise. More than 23,000 Steam user reviews have ‘overwhelmingly positive’ things to say about its devilishly moreish loop, making it easily one of the highest-rated and best roguelikes of 2024.”Fight unholy horrors from beyond and survive wave after wave of enemies until you face on…

Long-time Persona director Katsura Hashino reckons working on the demon-hunting, high-schooling series is a little “easier” than creating a whole new world in Metaphor: ReFantazio, but the latter allowed the developers to work on ideas that they just couldn’t have before.Speaking to the Official Xbox Podcast, Persona and Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Hashino said “we really had ideas we wanted to put into this game that we couldn’t put into other games.” He used his popular supernatural high school series as an example, too.”Persona 5 is set in the real world – Persona 5 specifically in Shiba and Tokyo,” he noted. “That means the story we wanted to tell became slightly limited to the space we were within. It also means it’s a little bit easier for us to work with because we know the place, we have that sort of baseline to work from. But, once again, it does limit our options.”

Bygones PVE god roll

Bygones PVE god roll

The Destiny 2 Bygones Pulse Rifle is back in Revenant with fresh perks, and you can get it by playing Gambit or focusing Gambit Engrams with Drifter. It’s a very easy-to-use and versatile Pulse Rifle, with solid stats, a great range of perks, and lots of possible combinations, many of which are extremely useful for bolstering the weapon’s stats for the Crucible. However, it’s also one of the few weapons in Destiny 2 that can get Firefly, which is an excellent PVE perk and well worth chasing. Here are the Destiny 2 Bygones god rolls I recommend pursuing if you’re after a solid Pulse Rifle.Bygones PVE god rolls in Destiny 2 The overall power of Bygones means it’s an effective, medium-range, kinetic weapon for any loadout, but with Firefly being the standout PVE perk, this god roll is going to almost entirely revolve around that perk:Barrel: SmallboreMagazine: Ricochet RoundsPerk 1: DemolitionistPerk 2: FireflyMasterwork: Stability or HandlingMod: Choose Backup Mag, Synergy, or either of the Ammo Finder Enhancement modsDestiny 2 Revenant guidesDestiny 2 Fieldwork

Uncharted 2 has turned 15 years old, and while the thought of that may turn some of you into dust, those who worked on the iconic game are taking the opportunity to reminisce instead.Over the weekend, Naughty Dog and other industry figures like Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to flag the beloved adventure game’s big milestone, leading to some reaction from those who worked on Uncharted 2 many moons ago. Current studio head Neil Druckmann says the game “completely changed our lives,” with an accompanying image showing a Neil Young-mann.Like it was yesterday! Uncharted 2 completely changed our lives! https://t.co/0aKXJVw3ct pic.twitter.com/YPYT3hjJrROctober 13, 2024In response to a Keighley tweet reminding everyone that Uncharted 2 was announced by famed poet of our time Busta Rhymes, Bruce Straley says the game showed a Naughty Dog on fire with “something to prove.””The Playable Summer Blockbuster,” he says. “A building that collapsed in-game & not in a cutscene. A train that actually careened & moved through 3d space, not just a scrolling background trick. We were on fire [with] something to prove. That was the highlight of my days at ND. Good memories.”There are plenty of o…

The massive Game Freak leak has taken a rather unusual turn, as alleged Pokemon origin and lore-building stories have been shared online that range from interesting to downright bizarre. Over the weekend, an enormous amount of supposedly leaked information about both old and new Pokemon games began surfacing on social media, seemingly including beta sprites, concept art, and allegedly even the source code for both Pokemon Legends: Z-A and even the unannounced Gen 10 games. Apparently, in amongst all this are stories detailing how the entire Pokemon universe began, as well as what look like folktales about relationships between humans and Pokemon. The so-called origin story is certainly an interesting one – it appears to tell a tale somewhat aligned with the lore of Pokemon god Arceus, which certain Pokedex entries say is “said to have emerged from an egg in a place where there was nothing, then shaped the world.” This is mirrored here, but beyond the hatching of an egg, it’s said that the god (which isn’t actually called Arceus here) fought against giants that formed from the remnants of its eggshell, before giving life to two alternate versions of itself to become gods o…

Metaphor: ReFantazio marks the beginning of a brand-new title from Atlus’ Studio Zero, but the new JRPG is definitely following in the footsteps of the Persona series when it comes to its length and sheer story depth.Speaking in a recent interview with Xbox, legendary director and producer Katsura Hashino admits that Metaphor: ReFantazio is “a pretty voluminous game.” According to the lead, the developers “really hoped to keep it very exciting” despite how long it is – a whopping 80 to 90 hours or so. “We didn’t want to bore our players by keeping it the same the entire time.” That’s why the story boasts plenty of “twists and turns,” says Hashino.

“By the time it takes you to beat the game, which is going to be a fair amount of time – it’s a pretty voluminous game – we’ve tried to continue to surprise our players in both the system and the twists and turns the story takes.” As someone with a good few hours in-game already myself, I’d argue that the devs have certainly accomplished this – and our Metaphor: ReFantazio review expands on just how they managed to do so.The …

How to solve the clock puzzle

The Henry, Scott and Mildred riddle

The Hour Hand

The Minute Hand

The Second Hand

The Silent Hill 2 Remake Clock puzzle in Bluecreek Apartments is solved by finding three hands – for hours, seconds and minutes – and setting them to the right times by translating a riddle nearby about Henry, Scott and Mildred. It’s hardly the easiest puzzle to solve at first glance, but that’s mainly because you can’t solve it at first glance – you need to find the three hands, one at a time, and set them to the right time using the riddle as a slightly obscure guide. You’ll come back here a lot though – the grandfather clock acts as a kind of unofficial hub for the area, similar to the Silent Hill 2 Remake coin cabinet puzzle before it, and each time you find a clock hand, installing it and correctly setting it will open the next section of the apartments for you to explore. If you want a helpful walkthrough to guide you, we’ll show you where to find all the clock hands, what to set them to, and how to solve all the connected puzzles associated with the grandfather clock in the Silent Hill 2 Remake. How to solve the Silent Hill 2 clock…
